The ADE has a long standing working partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) which represents universities with Latino populations of 20% or more.  ADE Vice-Chairman Manny Diaz, as well as, ADE Board Members Rudy Beserra, Maggie Pedraza and Dr. Victoria M. DeFrancesco Soto are involved in the expansion of ADE's advocacy agenda within the Latino community.

On September 19, 2010, ADE is participating in HACU’s 24th Annual Conference in San Diego, California scheduled to be held September 18 through the 20th.   ADE will host a panel session centered around the impact of broadband on the field of education.  Join us at the conference or for the live webcast!
