William "Bill" Diggs     Board Member

Bill Diggs serves as the Chief Executive Officer for The Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce. With more than 400 members, the Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce is Florida's oldest Chamber of Commerce that has as its primary mission the growth and retention of minority businesses. While Mr. Diggs manages the day to day operations of his staff, he is over all aspects including financial, programming and development.

Mr. Diggs has been involved in many successful business ventures. While at MCI Telecommunications, he was recognized for launching what was considered the most successful competitive local service campaign in the company's history. He was previously the Vice President of Sales for JLM Risk Management Company -- a 100% African-American owned Atlanta, Georgia-based commercial property and casualty insurance firm.

Mr. Diggs hosts a weekly radio show that provides useful pointers for business owners and also writes a weekly syndicated newspaper column for The Miami Herald. He regularly speaks at various high schools, business conferences and youth conventions. Mr. Diggs is also listed as one of Miami's Top Leaders by Miami Today.
