Julius H. Hollis     Chairman and Founder

Julius Hollis is the founder of The Alliance for Digital Equality and currently serves as the Chairman of the Atlanta, Georgia-based 501(c)4 non-profit corporation. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Hollis background includes an extensive career as a banker, entrepreneur and financial advisor to a diverse array of multinational clients. In addition to his leadership role with The Alliance, he also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Hollis & Company, an Atlanta-based investment-counseling firm with an affiliate office in Johannesburg, South Africa. Mr. Hollis received his B.A. degree from Morehouse College.

Mr. Hollis' business accomplishments have included among others: negotiating the investment of US$201 million by Mirant, Inc. (MIR: NYSE) in the Jamaica Public Service Company, Ltd., the largest integrated electric utility company in the Caribbean; successfully co-chairing Mirant's acquisition in 1995 of a substantial ownership stake in PowerGen, Ltd. for US$125 million, an electrical power generation company previously owned by the government of Trinidad and Tobago; negotiating a 10-year supply concession valued at US$500 million for Georgia-Pacific Corporation (GP:NYSE) with The Methanol Company, Ltd. of Trinidad and Tobago, and serving as Trade and Investment Representative for the Georgia Department of Industry and Trade in South Africa.

Mr. Hollis other accomplishments have included serving as a member of the board of directors of NCBA Housing, Inc; a member of the Corporate Advisory Council of The National Conference of Black Mayors; a member of the board of directors of Jamaica Public Service Company, Ltd; a senior executive with the Export-Import Bank of the United States during the Carter Administration and an advisor to former U.S. Ambassador Andrew Young.

Mr. Hollis is also founder and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nevis Securities, LLC, a NASD licensed investment banking company, which was established in conjunction with JP Morgan Chase in December 2003. The ownership interests of Julius Hollis in conjunction with JP Morgan Chase in Nevis Securities were sold in 2006.

Mr. Hollis as noted has served in numerous public-sector leadership positions with success, and has dedicated his time developing programs and initiatives that encourage America's underserved population through career advancement and economic opportunity.
