Michelle Matthews     Director of Strategic Planning

Ms. Matthews, a native of Washington, DC, is the Digital Empowerment Council (DEC) Project Manager for Planning.  Additionally, Ms. Matthews leads an Atlanta-based management consulting firm with more than 20 years of experience in organizational development and consulting.  She serves as a trusted advisor to numerous Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations and educational institutions, ranging from Delta Air Lines, BellSouth and Georgia-Pacific to United Way, Atlanta Public Schools and Spelman College.  Prior to launching her consultancy, Ms. Matthews served as a senior manager for IBM, KPMG Consulting and Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).
