Robert S. Shumake - Board of Advisors Robert Shumake is the Founder of Inheritance Capital Group, Inc., a Detroit, Michigan real estate investment management firm. Mr. Shumake has a considerable portfolio of accomplishments including a Presidential appointment to serve a three-year term as Director for the Federal Home Loan Bank, and a gubernatorial appointment to the Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. As a Federal Home Loan Bank board member, Mr. Shumake is responsible for regulating real estate policies to facilitate and enhance the availability of credit for housing and economic growth, including meeting those needs in low- and moderate- income communities. Mr. Shumake's vision in part, is dedicated to expanding housing opportunities for people who "dream the American Dream" of home ownership. Mr. Shumake also serves on the Board of Trustees for The Lewis College of Business, Michigan's only historically black institution of higher education, and is a member of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Mr. Shumake also founded the real estate and business corporation, First Equity Holdings in 1996. Since then, First Equity Holdings managed and sold 85% of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) inventory in the state of Michigan with sales of approximately 80 million dollars. Mr. Shumake attended Morehouse College and received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Lewis College of Business.
